1911 The 5 Zucker brothers found the State Chemical Manufacturing Company with Jay Zucker as first Company President.
1913 State Chemical already needs to move to larger headquarters in the Ohio Building on East 2nd Street, later expanding to the entire building.
1926 The Company builds a 30,000 square foot building on Superior Avenue.
1941 State Chemical purchases the Superior Avenue Baptist Church to expand its headquarters.
1966 State Chemical moves to new and bigger headquarters on Hamilton Avenue
1971 Malcolm (Mac) Zucker, son of Jay, becomes President of State Chemical.
1972 State Chemical needs to double the size of the Hamilton Avenue Location.
1978 State Chemical adds an additional 20,000 square feet to the existing 150,000 square feet plant and office.
1982 UZ Engineered Products is founded. UZ stands for Uhrman Zucker.
1989 Hal Uhrman, the third generation, becomes President of State Industrial Products
1990 State Chemical buys Hyline International and Atco International, Canadian companies based in Ontario, that become State Chemical Ltd.
1995 A 10,000 square foot addition is added to the Cleveland warehouse.
2007 State Chemical introduces Ecolution®, a line of environmentally-preferred cleaning products that meet stringent goals to reduce potential health, safety, and pollution risks.
2010 Our 200,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution center opens in Hebron, OH.
2011 November 11, 2011, the entire company celebrates the centennial at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
2012 Completed move to new corporate offices in Mayfield Heights, OH.
2013 Seth Uhrman, the fourth generation, becomes CEO of State Industrial Products
